Program Manager

Manage a multi-sectoral program to support delivering essential protection and services to survivors of violence, adapted for the Jordanian context.

The Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing and providing survivor-centered institutional capacity building and interventions. The interventions will support public and private healthcare services, civil society, and shelters. Additionally, the Program Manager will ensure that evidence-based research informs the program and is utilized for sustainable legislation and policy.

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:-

1. A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, public health, psychology, or a related discipline.

2. Significant experience (5+ years) in managing programs related to gender-based violence, survivor support, or social services, preferably in a humanitarian or development context.

3. Deep understanding of the social, cultural, and legal context of Jordan, particularly regarding gender dynamics, violence against women, and survivors’ needs.

4. Proven ability to manage multi-sectoral programs, including designing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating interventions, and reporting to stakeholders; experience in budget management and USAID donor reporting is essential.

5. Demonstrated expertise in providing survivor-centered institutional capacity building.

6. Familiarity with research methodologies and experience in utilizing evidence-based research to inform program design, advocacy efforts, and policy development.

7. Experience working in advocacy related to gender-based violence and survivor protection.

8. Respect for diversity and sensitivity to cultural norms.

9. Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English are required.

10. Strong commitment to prioritizing the needs and rights of survivors.
